MAIN STREET ANNOUNCES EXITS ON TWO PORTFOLIO INVESTMENTS

Main Street Capital Corporation (NYSE: MAIN) (“Main Street”) exited two portfolio investments in their entirety, Compact Power Equipment, Inc and Indianapolis Aviation Partners, LLC.

Compact Power Equipment, Inc rents light to medium construction equipment via its outdoor equipment stores.  Main Street saw a gain of approximately $3.7 million on their equity investment with CPEC, $0.2 million more than their March 31, 2017 fair value.  They realized a profit that was 2.8 times their initial September 2009 venture.

Indianapolis Aviation Partners is a fixed base operator at the Indianapolis International Airport, operating out of the Million Air FBO network.  Main Street saw a gain of approximately $2.4 million on their equity investment with IAP, $0.8 million more than their March 31, 2017 fair value.  They realized a profit that was 2.4x their initial September 2009 venture.
